As a Danish-Canadian psychologist I have spent years living in Denmark and abroad, looking at the Danish culture through neuropsychological glasses - both from the inside, and from the outside.  I have finally found the key to danish happiness....and yes, you can import it into your life if you are not Danish!


In addition to increasing happiness, this key also increases productivity, innovation, and social connection. And, although their key to happiness is not hygge, once you understand it, you can become a hygge master!

How do you go from a so-so sex life to a stellar sex life? 

Our sexuality allows us to increase the pleasure potential in our lives. And on top of that, it can enhance the warmth in our romantic relationships, and our physical and mental well-being.


But it can also do the opposite of all these things, or something in between. Most people live with something in between.


How can you go from having an okay sex life to having an exceptional sex life? In this talk, you will learn how we humans block or diminish our sexual happiness and health, and how we can use knowledge from psychology to enjoy our sexual joy potential much more. You will learn psychological tips and tricks that anyone can use to increase sexual pleasure and health.


This workshop can be modified to fit the sexual health curriculum of a school.

LIFEHACKS FROM NEUROPSYKOLOGY


What can you do to enjoy more of the natural happiness your brain can give you? Most people block their own happiness without knowing it - what can you do to avoid this?

In this workshop you can learn:


  • how to most easily experience a natural sense of well-being

  • what your brain's superpowers are

  • how to avoid the mistake that many people make in life - decreasing their happiness by the way they strive for it

  • what primal instincts cause many people stress without them realizing it, and what you can do to avoid being stressed by these instincts

  • the difference between a psychologically healthy and a psychologically unhealthy relationship

  • how you control emotions and how you manage emotions, and when it is appropriate to do one or the other

  • why you sometimes feel like you will never get up again when you are feeling down, and the built-in guarantee in your brain that ensures that you will feel better

  • which memories have the greatest influence on your experience of yourself and your life

FROM A COUPLE IN LOVE TO A COUPLE OF PARENTS
 


How can you stay in love and enrich your friendship through this life-changing move to parenthood? You will grow as individuals when you become parents - how can you ensure that you grow together, or side by side, rather than grow apart?

Approximately ⅔ of all relationships deteriorate after the couple has children, and a large percentage of these couples end up in divorce, often because the partners lack the understanding and skills necessary to navigate this life change which affects them physically, psychologically and socially.


After participating in this workshop for couples who are pregnant, considering becoming pregnant or want to adopt, you will have learned effective techniques and approaches that are proven to:

  • strengthen the love, friendship and happiness in your relationship during this transition
  • keep you from going into the negative relationship spiral that many couples go into in this life phase
  • increase the life quality in the home your child/children grow up in

Through homework assignments, you will have the opportunity to integrate what you learn into your life, so that your everyday life can be easier and more pleasant, and you can have more energy for each other and for being parents to your child/children.
